Introduction: What is Faith ? It is the strongest Power and Force in the Earth and the Universe(Heb. 1:2,3). Without it man cannot please God(Heb. 11;6;Rom. 1:18-21). Faith is the Anointing(1 Sam. 16:12,13)and the Authority(11 Sam. 5:1-5)as demonstrated with David. Anointing and Authoritycame to Saul in one day(1 Sam 9:16;1 Sam.10:10,11). Then he lost his anointing(26,27, 28). Then he lost his Authority(1 Sam. 28:17-19).

   Our words speak faith(Rom. 4:17;1 Kings 17:1,2; Prov. 18:21), our actions demonstrate faith(Gal. 6:8,9;Eccl. 9:11)and our gifts and Talents perform faith when the time and season is expedient(Prov. 18:16;Matt. 25:15).

CONCLUSION:

      David was a powerful man who walked, gratefulness and lived by faith. Anointed King when he wasn't (1 Sam. 13:12-13); reflective thankfulness of small accomplishments(1 Sam. 17:37); learning how to encourage self when others will not and cannot(1 Sam 30:6). He picked out five smooth stones from the brook(1 Sam. 17:40) which are synonymous with Faith which has five letters:Obedience, Humility, Truth, Holiness, Love(Five Things The Devil Cannot Do and Live Up To). This is the believers Faith(Power) WHICH OVERCOMES THE WORLD.(1 John 4:4; 1 John 5:4).
